Our fireworks boat trips are the perfect opportunity to enjoy this weekly summer spectacle, from a completely unique viewpoint. Bring your family, friends, some snacks and a glass of fizz to enjoy under the lights.
You’ll have a front row seat to watch the fireworks with the lights of Weymouth in the background. Once the display has finished, we’ll head back to our mooring.
Book a couple of tickets or charter the whole boat for your group.
If the firework display is cancelled the boat trip will be cancelled.
This year the event organisers will be hosting a mixture of low noise and standard noise displays throughout July and August.

Book NowMeet us at our mooring in Weymouth Harbour before we steam out into the bay. We’ll go for a gentle jaunt before finding the perfect place to anchor in readiness of the display. The destination of the pre-firework cruise will change depending on the weather conditions and the skippers decision on the day. We will head into Portland Harbour and along the historic breakwater or we’ll follow Weymouth seafront to Redcliffe, next to Bowleze Cove.
FAQs
What is your cancellation policy?
If we deem the weather unsuitable for a Weymouth Fireworks Boat Trip on Amarisa, the display is cancelled or the minimum passenger number has not been met, the trip will be cancelled with as much prior notice as possible. You will usually be contacted the evening before when we have access to the latest weather report – typically after 6pm.
You will be contacted on the phone number/email address provided at the time of booking to try and arrange alternate dates. If we are unable to agree upon a mutually suitable date and transfer your booking, you will receive a cancellation email (please keep an eye on your junk mail folder) and full refund of any money paid. This can take up to 10 working days.
If you (the customer) would like to cancel a Weymouth Fireworks Boat Trip a full refund will be given up until 72 hours prior to the trip commencing. To cancel please click the ‘view booking’ button in your confirmation email and follow the instructions. It is also possible to transfer your booking to another date up until 72 hours before your trip. No refund will be given for cancellations that occur less than 72 hours before your trip.
What if it rains?
The trip will be cancelled if the firework display is cancelled by the event organisers or we deem the wind too bad to go to sea. The firework boat trip may still go ahead in the rain.
What happens if we’re running late?
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your trip – we run our trips back to back so it’s essential that you’re there on time. We are unable to wait for guests that are running late and we will leave without you. If you are not there on time, a refund will not be given.
Weymouth gets very busy, especially on firework nights. Leave yourself plenty of time for traffic and parking.
Can I bring my dog?
No, we do not allow dogs on our fireworks boat trips.
Is there a toilet?
Yes, Amarisa has a toilet onboard.
What clothes should I wear?
Please dress warm, it can get really chilly at sea in the evenings, even in the summer. Please bring a jumper and coat.
Is the trip suitable for kids?
Yes, children are welcome on board. Everyone will need a ticket, regardless of age. There are full noise and low noise displays throughout the summer. Please pick the display that is most suitable for your children.
Can I bring food and drink?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy during the firework display?
Where do we meet you?
Meet us on the pontoon, next to our boat Amarisa – we are moored beneath the Sailors Return pub, next to Cosens Quay Car Park (Commercial Rd, Weymouth DT4 8AQ).
When walking to the boat, please use the ramp rather than the ladders. Advance booking is essential, please do not just turn up on the day.
